I am from: Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA.

The Story: The Willamette Valley is world-renowned for its cool maritime mists, rolling hills, and ancient soils, making it the premier destination for American Pinot Noir that favors finesse over sheer muscle. Littlebury Road beautifully embraces this philosophy, consciously crafting a lighter, leaner style heavily inspired by the elegant, savory profiles of classic Burgundy. Rather than chasing the hyper-ripe, bold, and heavily extracted fruit bombs often associated with modern New World reds, this project treats the grape with a delicate touch. The juice is aged for nine months in a thoughtful combination of tanks and French oak barrels (about 50% new), giving the wine just enough structural frame to shine without ever overshadowing the grape's raw, authentic voice.

Why You'll Love Me: It is a masterclass in elegance, purity, and bright, refreshing energy. It pours a beautiful, clear, translucent ruby color in the glass. The nose immediately welcomes you with a cheerful, dusty bouquet of ripe red cherries, fresh cranberries, and wild raspberries, beautifully accented by a touch of white flowers, flinty rocks, and an earthy whisper of the forest floor. On the palate, it is light-to-medium-bodied, remarkably lithe, and graceful on its feet. The tannins are ultra-soft and silky, gliding effortlessly alongside a vibrant, mouthwatering core of crunchy red fruit. A persistent mineral and stony thread grounds the mid-palate, rolling into a crisp, clean finish that leaves you immediately reaching back for another sip.
