The story: The winemakers at Cave Saint Désirat have been working for over 50 years to develop quality wine. Bathed by generous amounts of sunlight, Syrah, Roussanne, Marsanne, and Biognier vines thrive on the land’s terraced plots supported by drystone walls. In order to produce such high quality wine, the Cave’s wine growers learn the land intimately and are proud to perpetuate the know-how of their masters. The grapes are picked exclusively by hand, performed in the fashion of a sacred ritual.
