Bollig-Lehnert Trittenheimer 2020 Apotheke Riesling Kabinett
Pairs with: Tandoori chicken
Good for: Accompanying your favorite spicy meal
Grape: Riesling
I am from: Mosel, Germany
The Story: Bollig-Lehnert is a small, family-run estate located in the middle Mosel Valley, with winemaking roots dating back to the 17th century. Since 1987, third- generation winemaker Stefan Bollig has overseen roughly 18 acres of Mosel's finest Riesling vineyards in the villages of Trittenheim, Piesport and Dron. He and his family live in Trittenheim, and tend to the grapes themselves.
Why You'll Love Me: Fragrant aromas of elderflower, black currant leaf, apple and slate on the nose. Medium bodied, this wine exudes rich notes of tropical fruit, including guava and pineapple. A bracing structure leads in to a pleasantly lingering finish redolent of apple and slate.
