The story: Shortly after the turn of this century, Kathleen and Brad McLeroy sold their wine shop in Kansas City and headed to Oregon. Their dream was to own a vineyard and winery. Ayres Vineyard & Winery has achieved commercial success and a stellar reputation in the Willamette Valley's Ribbon Ridge AVA over the past two decades. Ayres Vineyard & Winery follows a French model and the McLeroys live on the vineyard property. The winery is situated beneath the house where Kathleen's parents reside. Their sole focus is on the vineyard - It all starts there.
