Koukos Sideritis "Lydia"
Nestled in the mountainous Achaia region of the Peloponnese, Koukos Winery is dedicated to rescuing obscure indigenous Greek varietals. Their 'Lydia' is a rare expression of Sideritis, a pink-skinned grape yielding an electric, bone-dry white. It bursts with fragrant citrus blossom, crisp green apple, and white peach, finishing with a fiercely vibrant, crushed-stone minerality.
Zahel Wiener Gemischter Satz
Championing the historic vineyards within Vienna’s city limits, Weingut Zahel crafts biodynamic wines of immense vitality. Their Wiener Gemischter Satz is a traditional field blend of co-harvested, co-fermented white grapes. It offers a lively, deeply aromatic profile of crisp orchard fruit, white pepper, and wild herbs, delivering a snappy, thirst-quenching freshness that is irresistibly charming.
Cantina Annesanti I' Rosato 'Nasciolo'
Deep in the green heart of Umbria, Francesco Annesanti crafts soulful, low-intervention wines from his family's farm in the Valnerina. The 'Nasciolo' Rosato is a deeply savory, rustic pink wine loaded with personality. It exudes notes of tart cranberry, blood orange, and Mediterranean scrub. Unfined and unfiltered, it brings a thrilling, tactile grip and vibrant, earthy freshness.
Château d'Oupia Pays d'Hérault Les Hérétiques
Founded by the legendary André Iché and now run by his daughter Marie-Thérèse, Château d'Oupia is a cornerstone of the Languedoc. 'Les Hérétiques' is a phenomenally juicy, unpretentious red sourced from old-vine Carignan. It practically overflows with crushed blackberries, wild bramble, and a hint of black pepper. Dangerously drinkable, it finishes soft, fruity, and entirely satisfying.
