2023 Domaine De Fa Beaujolais 'en Besset'

This is their masterclass in high-elevation Gamay. Sourced from a steep, pure granite vineyard near the village of Roche de Vergisson, this wine is all about electric tension and crunch. Because of the altitude and the rocky dirt, the fruit retains a fierce, mouthwatering acidity. It jumps out of the glass with bright notes of tart pomegranate, fresh wild strawberry, crushed violets, and a striking, crushed-stone minerality. It is highly energetic and dangerously easy to drink.

2023 Domaine De Fa Saint-Amour

While 'en Besset' is about bright energy, this Cru-level release is all about depth and structure. Saint-Amour is the northernmost Cru in Beaujolais, and the soils here are a complex mix of granite, clay, and schist. The Graillot brothers use their signature whole-cluster fermentation to build serious backbone and grip into this wine. It is brooding and deeply savory, layered with dark cherry, red plum, black tea, and a beautiful hit of peppery spice. It drinks with the gravitas of a Northern Rhône red but maintains that joyful Gamay soul.
