The Story:This Chablis is an excellent example of the appellation, and of the attention to detail that is a hallmark of Nicolas Idiart’s production. Founder and winemaker at the Maison, Nicolas started his career in wine at the ripe age of 19. He graduated from Blanquefort, a renowned French winemaking school, and started working right away in wineries in the Loire Valley then New Zealand and Australia, and continued to hone his expertise globally before opening his own winery a decade ago.
