Age Verification

As a retailer of fine wine, spirits, and beer Vinodivino requires all shoppers to be at least 21 years of age.

SHOPPING FOR WINE SHOULD BE AS MUCH FUN AS DRINKING IT.

Whether you’re late for a dinner party and just need to grab a nice chardonnay or your wine rack is empty and you’ve got time to browse, we believe shopping for wine should be just as enjoyable as drinking it. Part of the fun is discovering new and exciting wines from up and coming regions and emerging winemakers.

WE HAVE A STRICT OPEN BOTTLE POLICY.
We’re confident you’ll be blown away by the carefully curated collection of wines in our shops. We’ve tasted them all and love every bottle. And we want you to feel as confident about your selection as we do. Which is why every afternoon we have a bottle of the day open for you to taste and encourage you to browse while sipping from crystal stemware. It’s also why each location hosts free themed tastings two nights a week.

And did we mention that all of our tastings are FREE?

AN EDUCATED STAFF MEANS EDUCATED CONSUMERS.
Investing in our staff is investing in you. We pay for months of schooling to ensure that every staff member earns their WSET Level 3 Award from the prestigious Wine & Spirits Education Trust. So you can be sure their recommendations are based on knowledge, passion, and the desire to find the perfect bottle for you. Let us know what you’re serving and we’ll suggest the perfect pairing. Tell us about a wine you love and we’ll find you a new one you’ll die over. In time, you’ll become an expert yourself without even realizing it!

RAPHAEL COULDN’T FIND A WINE SHOP THAT GOT IT RIGHT. SO HE OPENED UP HIS OWN.

In 2000, Raphael Keller-Go moved from Switzerland to Boston with an MBA and a passion for wine. But something didn’t translate. Where were the clean, nicely appointed shops with friendly, knowledgeable staff members ready to answer questions and make recommendations? Where was the fun of discovering new and interesting wines from emerging boutique vineyards?

He took matters into his own hands and in 2004, opened the first of four vinodivino shops in Newton, where he lives with his wife and two children. Raphael divides his time between all four of his Boston area locations and loves talking wine and catching up with his customers. Drop him a line at raphael@vinodivino.com.

"We want to help satisfy your curiosity about wine–educate you a little every time you come in. If you’re out to dinner and you’re at the table with ten people and everyone hands you the wine list, then we’ve succeeded."

SERVING THE COMMUNITY IN-STORE AND OUT

CORPORATE GIVING

We don’t just work in the community. We live in the community. And giving back is important to us. Especially when it comes to our kids and our schools. Over the last 14 years we’ve supported hundreds of charitable efforts benefitting the local public school system. Whether it’s volunteering our time or donating wine, beer and spirits to fundraising and PTO-sponsored events, we take pride in serving the schools that serve our kids.
