The Story: Founded in 1973 by Roberto Bricolo near the sun-drenched shores of Lake Garda, Cantina Gorgo is now a multi-generational success story managed by Roberto and his daughter, Roberta. Driven by Roberta's vision, the estate fully transitioned to certified organic farming. In this unique alpine-influenced terroir, they apply white winemaking techniques to native red varieties to craft Chiaretto—the historic, pale, and dry signature rosé of the region.
Why You'll Love Me: It is bright, savory, and beautifully light on its feet. Moving past simple sweetness, it delivers a deeply expressive bouquet of wild red berries, sour cherry, and fresh strawberry, laced with notes of spring flowers and a hint of white pepper. On the palate, its juicy fruit character is balanced by a zippy, thirst-quenching acidity and a subtle, mouthwatering saline minerality that makes it an absolute pleasure to drink.
