The Story: Christiane and Alain Robert were born in families of farmers and winegrowers.  In 1973, they founded their own estate in the village of Chançay, which is part of the Vouvray appellation area, in the heart of the Loire Valley. At the time, they grew 2 hectares of vineyard, a precious family inheritance, since then the cellar and the technical facilities have gradually been expanded and improved.
