The story: The Quinta de Curvos estate has history going back more than four centuries with many legends and estórias (to use the old Portuguese word for "stories") that date to its founding. Dating to the 16th century, the estate has changed hands many times but has nonetheless retained its reputation for producing the finest wines in the region, including the grape most associated with Minho -- Alvarinho (Albariño).
