The story: Elizabeth Rose wines represent affordable elegance, made possible by the family's more than 100 years working in Napa Valley. Sourced from  organically-farmed vineyards in Oakville and Yountville, Elizabeth Rose is part of the Ghost Block Estate Wines portfolio owned by the Pelissa family. Elizabeth Rose Pinot Noir is planted in their largest vineyard, Block House. This 292 acre vineyard is positioned on the valley floor and experiences a cooling effect from the breezes of San Pablo Bay that is advantageous to the growth and development of Pinot Noir.

Aromas of black cherry entice before the the palate -- rich with ripe strawberry and cherry --  creates a lovely burst of fruit with a touch of forest floor. A mid-weight wine, this is a pure expression of Pinot Noir. The finish is soft and elegant, with hints of vanilla and a nice acidity which is sure to have you reaching for another glass.
