The story:  Located in the heart of the southern Rhône, Domaine Chantepierre prides themselves on making some of the best wines in the Rhône. Produced at the Cave de Vigneron de Tavel, its wines come from a vineyard owned by cooperative president Christian Padie. Cave de Tavel represents 85 growers, which accounts for almost half of the production in the appellation.

In your mouth: Bursting with flavors of black cherry, mushroom, and crushed stone. Look for a full body, good structure and notes of black fruit and licorice on the finish.
