The Story:  In 2013 celebrated wine maker Pedro Parra finally started his own family estate in the Bío Bío region. The area, essentially previously devoid of viticultural “innovation,” has been a blessing when it comes to farming extremely old-vine Cinsault and Pais. His plots are mostly old vines planted on sand with quartz. His winery is a simple hangar-like building where he utilized minimal intervention winemaking techniques to showcase the wine's natural strengths.
Why You’ll Love Me: I am tart and lively, with notes of ripe cherry, strawberry and dried herbs.
