The story: Bodega Weinert's winery was built upon the old ruins of a 1800's winery in Mendoza. The current vineyard was able to produce its first vintage in 1977 — a 100% Malbec, which at the time was the first of its kind. Setting the pace for the Malbec game in Argentina = lots of history. So try some history!
In your mouth: While in my youth I was rambunctious with lots of fruit and oak, I have grown more refined in my old age. Now I am mellow, with raisin notes and a beautiful tannic structure. Sink into my stewed berry notes and weighty finish.
