Pairs with: Green curry with coconut milk, or tomato soup
Good for: Spring afternoons and summer nights
Feels like: A cool river breeze
Grape: Chenin Blanc
I am from: Western Cape, South Africa
The story: Named in homage to the native Zebras of the region, this Western Cape blend of rich Chenin Blanc and crisp Pinot Grigio. The river valleys and coastal plains of the Western Cape region provide plenty of sunlight and balmy temperatures that grapes thrive in, add in fertile ancient soil and you can see why this is one of the worlds treasured wine producing regions.
In your mouth: I'm crisp and clean like a Granny Smith apple, with a subtle stone fruit finish. Chenin in the front, Pinot G in the back. We can chill out on the porch or on a blanket in the sand - I'm not too picky.
