The story! Barbaresco is often seen as the lesser cousin of Barolo, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Due to proximity to the Tanaro River and lower elevation, grapes in Barbaresco ripen earlier than in Barolo; the resulting wine is typically lighter, more aromatic, and more elegant than Barolo. 

In your mouth: I open up with soft, floral aromas which transition gracefully to a palate with firm tannins and notes of cranberry, sweet spice, espresso, and cocoa. I'm as classic as Barbaresco gets!
