The story: The Hayes Valley Estate is one of the few in the region with a wine-making legacy. The first vines were planted on the property in 1828, but met a sad end with the start of Prohibition. Bill and Brenda Murphy brought the land back to life, creating a multi-generational, sustainable winery.
In your mouth: I've got delectable aromas and come-hither fruit. Hints of oaky vanilla accent my plum curves, with flashes of decadent chocolate and clove. I finish with velvet, smooth and irresistible to the last sip.
