The story: The Chateau is located in the La Roche-Vineuse subregion of the Maconnais in the south of Burgundy. The building itself shows evidence of wine production as early as 1585 but the majority of the castle is from 1830. The Greuzard family has been tending the vines since 1924.
In your mouth: My palate is about as clean and expressive as they come. I only use 50% French oak which really serves to preserve my freshness and laser-like precision of the fruit. I am not a California butterbomb! Pick me up and see why Burgundy is still the king of Chardonnay!
