The story: Château Bernadotte's gorgeous 35-hectare estate is devoted purely to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. The vines are planted on a bed of gravel, perfectly suited for producing outstanding Cabernet grapes. 1996 was a great year for Bordeaux: it was a bit wet, but thanks to the gravelly soil of Haut-Médoc, drainage wasn't a problem, and the wines did quite well.
In your mouth: I've been around for long enough to show you the magic that comes with age, but young enough to rock your palate with my intensity and aesthetic elegance. I'm rich and a little delicate, with an elegant perfume of black cherry and an extremely smooth, savory finish.
