The story: If you look at a map of northeast Spain, you may notice a bull's eye of wine regions in the mountains. If you look a little closer, you'll see Priorat at the very center, a region of rugged hills and black slate soils that became one of only two DOCa's in Spain. This is where the Marge was born.
In your mouth: Notes of licorice and bright fruit greet you immediately. Take your time, come a little closer, and I'll reward you with touches of cedar and minerality. I drink like spice-edged silk, yet my palate remains full and juicy.
