The story: Castelli di Grevepesa was founded in 1965 by a number of farmers in the Chianti region, in response to the technological and economic turmoil of the early 1960's. Together they formed a merry band of winemakers dedicated to making excellent wines!

In your mouth:  I give off aromas of dried cherry and plum. Then I round my enticement with a hint of spice. This follows through into how I taste; full of spice, earth and hints of juniper! I tie all of this up in a neat bow of smooth tannin and a mouthwatering acidity.
