The story: The vineyards in Lujan de Cuyo produce some of the best wines in Argentina due to their swiftly draining sandy and mineral soils. Founded in 1975 by an Austrian national, the winery is a symbol of the tight bonds between European winemaking practices and the stunning terroir of South America.
In your mouth: While in my youth I was rambunctious with lots of fruit and oak, I have grown out of that stage. Now I am more mellow with mocha and tobacco. Berry flavors are still present but they are tempered with a vegetal notes.
