The story: This is one of our all-time favorite grower Champagnes. Lacourt-Godbillon is run by a husband and wife team, Richard and Géraldine, and consistently produces amazing wines. As opposed to the big Champagne houses who buy their grapes, producers of grower Champagne actually grow the grapes themselves. This allows for better stylistic control all the way from grape to glass, as well as better value.

In your mouth: I have soft aromas of biscuit, white peach, and almond followed up by a fine mousse and crisp acidity. I'm the kind of Champagne that is sure to impress at whatever occasion you bring me to.
