The story! In 1840, Gustave Hamelin planted his first few acres of vines in Chablis. Seven generations later, the Hamelin family continues to produce beautifully generous expressions of these unique soils. This particular bottle is from the steep, sunny hillsides of Vau Ligneau, where ancient marine soils lend a deep minerality.
In your mouth: I am bright silk, with expressive aromas of white flowers and a touch of vanilla. On the palate I blossom with ripe orchard fruit and lively citrus, while my precise mineral structure supports a long, shimmering finish.
