The story:  Givry is a legendary region in Burgundy, known for producing Pinot Noir with understated aromas of violet, strawberry, blackberry, and hints of licorice or clove. This bottle from Domaine du Cellier is made from Premier Cru vines, located in a place with almost perfect conditions for grape growing.

In your mouth: I burst out of the glass with blackberry and violet, but on your palate I am reserved and elegant. I spend just a little time in used oak, imparting a hint of spice that makes me all the more intriguing.
